Ancient Pathways, South Wales.

Many ancient sites are scattered across Pembrokeshire, including the mysterious journey of the Preseli Bluestones from Carn Menyn to Salisbury Plain. The stone circles, hillforts and trodden pathways preserve the memory of past civilizations and the nomadic journey of the people across the land. Thousands of years later they still hold relevance, inviting us to silently contemplate the forgotten ways and their significance. Stones were a symbol of eternity; quite literally a dense form of matter that can withstand the test of time. Witnessing the movements of the Sun, Moon and Stars and the cyclical dance of the seasons our ancestors used stones to mark important dates in the open skies.
